Recipe Notes
Which Chili Sauce to Use:
You have two options for this ingredient and it will alter the final taste of your dish.Neither one is wrong, it just depends on your personal preference and which condiments you prefer to keep in the fridge.
Heinz Chili Sauce: If you want to use this condiment, you'll have a slightly sweeter recipe with hints of sweet peppers and a very mild bite.
Sambal Oelek: If you want to use Sambal Oelek like I did, you'll have a bit more heat, a little less sweetness, and a punchy tang. On it's own, this is a very spicy condiment but when stirred into the rest of the ingredients on this recipe, it definitely mellows out. If you want your dish more spicy, just increase the amount of this ingredient 1 teaspoon at a time to taste.
